Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)
Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) is a graphical representation for documenting and specifying business processes within a business process model. The Business Process Management Initiative (BPMI) developed BPMN, which has been maintained by the Object Management Group since the two organizations merged in 2005. BPMN has several advantages:
- It provides a standard method to document and communicate business processes and workflow within organizations.
- It makes sharing process across organizations easier.
- Business Process Management Software supports standard BPMN
