Various and Sundry
Just some sundry news on IFD activity for our second blog post for the maybe 7.5 people who read this… at the moment.
For those who aren’t aware, IFD has released into beta their iPDFc color version of iPDF.This new version of iPDF will generate color PDF’s NATIVELY on the IBM i, iSeries platform, and does not require the user to download documents to a PC to generate color PDF’s. The beta program allows our customers to use and feedback to us on our products at a significantly reduced price.
The 1st of Jan, 2012, we expect to be releasing our much more powerful v. 6 of iDocs. Enhancements will include dynamic libraries, unlimited spool file size, and significantly more powerful SmartRouting logic, among other things. We’re pretty excited about this release, and our current users should very much appreciate the increased flexibility. If you’re under maintenance, its a free upgrade.
We’re excited to announce that Alex Rodriguez (years of IBM i experience) has joined our company as our Business Development Manager. In short order, he has us attending the New England Users Group Conference in April, the Southern California Users Group JD Edwards this coming week, Dec 7th, and of course, we’ll have a booth at the IBM COMMON show at Anaheim in May. His lines are open for potential partnerships, networking and other creative business models.
By the way, its tax season so please contact Erin Salisbury to order your tax forms, envelopes, discuss our electronic overlays, etc. (949) 709-5838 x. 123 , [email protected]
